When I decided to take a break from the corporate banking world, travel, and have more time with my family, I started my own web development business. I had many talks with clients about their marketing budget and what they wanted for their business. Were they trying to grow quickly or scale more sustainably? Did they want to cut back on hours to do more of what they loved? Had they identified their business goals?

Most clients had a hard time understanding the health of their business because they didn't have a hold on their finances (No shame! I used to get super overwhelmed with quarterly taxes!). I found, over time, that I was doing far more business and financial consulting than I was building websites (and I LOVED it!). 

Out of this experience, was born Fernweh Bookkeeping. I'm passionate about helping people organize and understand their books, save time in their business to focus on the bits they love, and cheering them on every step of the way!
